/wa/ is realized as /o/, and /w/ is elided in final position after a vowel.
Note: the /ël/ syllable, for unexplained reasons, seems to receive special treatment. The vowel is raised and rounded to /u/, and /l/ is deleted. Compare this with the form glossed "I love you people," which has the same underlying form.
